I’m based in Strathalbyn with a little home studio in an alcove with guitars, a bass, mics and a piano…

My name is Des Wade and I have been a member of SCALA – on and off – since the mid 1990s. I recently heard that SCALA no longer has a spot performing at The Wheatsheaf. Is this true and if so, why?

Hi Des good to have you on board.

Yes you’re right Des, SCALA is no longer at the Wheatsheaf Hotel due to them wanting to free up some other dates for themselves but we have picked up some shows at The Jade in Adelaide and with FOOM around the corner plus other things we have bubbling along the pipeline SCALA will continue to move forward and do what it does best… Encouraging songwriting and songwriters everywhere.
