July signifies the start of the new financial year and depending on how your year went you’d probably need some music to either celebrate or cheer you up.
Well, look no further than listening to some wonderful music from talented local songwriters in a wonderful venue.
It’s all happening again on Thursday July 6th with SCALA in conjunction with The Wheatsheaf Hotel proudly presenting the next instalment of the SCALA Live @ The Wheaty series of shows.
Doors open at 6:30pm with the music kicking off at 7:00pm with free entry for SCALA members and $10 admission for non-members.
On the bill for this event are the following…
Nick West began teaching himself the guitar at age 12, with no intention of being a singer, and his passion for the instrument rapidly grew since then.
The first song Nick wrote, “Blue Eyes” led to him getting signed with Arty Records, who encouraged and assisted Nick to release his first EP, “Pieces of One” in 2019.
A Twenty-Two Letter Phrase
A Twenty-Two Letter Phrase has had a long and diverse career in the Australian music scene over the last 12 years, including being a member of critically acclaimed Papa vs Pretty from 2008-2014.
He has since worked on stage and in the studio for a range of Australia’s best loved singer-songwriters including Montaigne, Jarryd James, E^ST, Jack River, Alex the Astronaut, Jack Carty and Dean Lewis.
Alongside the main artists, there will also be Chloe Veronica performing in the special guest spot for the evening.
Please, do yourself a favour and have a listen to these wonderful original artists in a wonderfully supporting and nurturing environment and remember…
Supporting SCALA = supporting live and local original music.
See you all there 🙂
