SCALA People’s Choice Song Competition – Oh What A Night!

WOW! All I can say is… What an unforgettable evening of original music!.

The SCALA People’s Choice Song Competition featured 16 original songwriters who performed their amazing songs to a packed audience at The Jade last night (Thursday, May 2nd).

The enthusiastic crowd also served as judges, casting their votes for the top three original songs.

Before announcing the winners, we must give a special commendation to Rebma and Ebony, two talented 13-year-olds who captivated the audience with their perceptive original songs. We’re confident they have bright futures ahead in music.

A huge congratulations to the three audience favorites: In 3rd place was Emerauld with “In The First Place,” in 2nd place was Kaelin Haimes with “Flowers for Paige,” and taking 1st place was Lauren Butler with “Forest Rain.”

From L-R: Lauren Butler (1st), Kaelin Haimes (2nd), Emerauld (3rd)

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the songwriters who participated and helped make the night truly special.

Additionally, keep an eye out for more details about SCALA’s upcoming radio segment on Three D Radio 93.7 FM, happening Wednesday, June 26th, where the winning songs from this competition will be highlighted.
